Over at the Frankentein's place lies a sadistic and bewildering dungeon dominated by a diva alien from outer space. The musical takes form in a lascivious world created by Frank-N-Furter to satisfy his desires to create the perfect man. Pleather and chain elements create a licentious space for pain and pleasure to be explored, while red tinsel highlights the show's aspects of camp. Queer nightlife offers an intersection between camp and sexual desire, allowing for a euphoric liberation from the rigidity that Brad and Janet are accustomed to.
